Instagram will let you pin up to three posts or reels to the top of your profile, similar to Twitter and TikTok. Pinned posts or reels will appear at the forefront of your Instagram grid.
You can select favourite posts or reels to use the feature by tapping on the three dots on the top-right corner and then clicking “Pin to your profile”. All pinned posts or reels will be visible at the top-left corner of the profile with a white pin icon. Existing posts will be pushed to the right as you add more posts/reels, Tech Crunch reported.
Instagram has been working on the feature since the beginning of the year, where reverse engineer Alessandro Paluzzi first spotted the feature in January. The platform announced a test of the feature in April. Just like story highlights, pinned posts could help creators bring attention to essential content.
