‘Imran should target political opponents’

Punjab Assembly Speaker Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi has said that former prime minister Imran Khan should target his political opponents instead of fighting the ‘establishment’.

“We are ready to play our part in improving the relationship between Imran Khan and the establishment,” he reportedly said in an interview to a US broadcaster.

The PML-Q president said he had given the advice to the former premier. He said what more neutrality could be expected from the establishment after a no-confidence motion against a prime minister had succeeded and it had done nothing.
