Youm-I-Ali: First aid plan prepared
The Health Department is to cover the processions on August 22 to mark the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA).

The Health Department has chalked out a comprehensive medical plan to cover the processions on August 22 to mark the martyrdom of Hazrat Ali (RA). All government hospitals have been issued instructions to complete arrangements in all respects, enforce an emergency duty roster and display emergency crisis management plans. Health Department has issued instructions to principals of the autonomous medical institutions, medical superintendents of the hospitals and EDOs (Health) of all districts. The officers have been directed to ensure availability of senior medical staff and availability of sufficient beds. The medical superintendents have been directed to keep bio medical equipment, lifts and standby generators in perfect working conditions. Fully equipped and functional ambulances along with trained staff and medicines will be available to provide medical cover to the participants of processions.
