Says PTI will form govt in the Centre in next elections

Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan inaugurated development projects during his day-long visit to Swat district. The chief minister inaugurated new building of Post Graduate Jahanzeb College, new pipeline for uninterrupted supply of gas to Mingora, Mingora Bypass Flyover, Hockey Astroturf, Women Gymnasium and District Council Hall.

He also performed the ground breaking of several new projects including Cardiology and Gynecology Units at Saidu Group of Teaching Hospital, Mingora Gravity Water Supply Scheme, Degree College Saidu Sharif and Darul Aman Swat, Fiza Gut to Manglawar Road, and mini Sports Complex at Grassy Ground.

Earlier, the CM also visited the Swat Press Club where he inaugurated the newly constructed block of the press club.

Addressing the elders of area at Grassy Ground, the CM said that in the 2018 general elections, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) formed the government in the province with a two-third majority and next time it will form a government in the centre with a two-third majority.

He said that there was no precedent of the large number of people protesting across the country including K-P on Imran Khan’s call and the people gave a clear message that they were not ready to accept the imported government under any circumstances.

He added that, in this context the historic Peshawar public gathering proved that K-P belongs to Imran Khan and it is the strong-hold PTI.

He said that, Imran Khan sacrificed his government but did not compromise on the sovereignty of the country.

Mahmood Khan said that under the leadership of Imran Khan the nation had started a new struggle and this struggle was for national sovereignty and national dignity, adding that until the success of this struggle we will stand firm with Imran Khan.

Bashing the new federal government for increasing electricity prices he said that the imported rulers had increased the prices of electricity just after the formation of government.

The imported rulers are thinking of closing down the shelter homes but all such welfare programs will continue in K-P and imported government would not be allowed to attack or close any social welfare programs, he maintained.

The CM said that the no-confidence motion against him was a drama which flopped badly, PTI members provincial assembly (MPA) will never change their loyalties and they proved that.

Mahmood Khan said that the development projects of Swat had been planned keeping in view next 40 years needs and requirements of the area.

The chief minister thanked the people of Swat for their unwavering support to PTI in the recently held local government elections in the province.

Member national assembly Saleemur Rehman, members provincial assembly Mian Sharafat Ali, Fazal Hakeem, Azizullah Khan and senior officials of divisional and district administration were also present on the occasion.
