TTP ‘terrorist’ involved in attacks on forces arrested

The accused reveals that he was also involved in terrorist attacks on FC and Army

In a joint operation, Gizri police and intelligence agencies arrested a key terrorist of the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and recovered a hand grenade and one illegal 30-bore pistol from his possession.

According to SSP South Ijaz Ahmad Rai, the arrested suspect, Sher Daraz alias Sher Khan, carried out various major terrorist activities in the country. During the interrogation, the accused revealed that he was also involved in terrorist attacks on FC and Army.

He said the accused further revealed that he had worked with five prominent terrorist commanders and had gone to Afghanistan to meet with terrorist organisations.

Concerned authorities have registered cases against him, and further investigation is underway, during which they expect revelations.
