ISLAMABAD:

Federal Ombudsman Ejaz Ahmad Qureshi has directed the National Database Registration Authority (NADRA) to set up new facilitation centres to facilitate citizens.

An inspection team of the federal ombudsman visited the NADRA facility centre in Blue Area and presented a report to him after taking into account the problems being faced by the people.

According to the team, the centre has only one facilitation desk for daily visitors and there is no parking facility outside the NADRA centre. Photocopiers charge exorbitant prices while the citizens have to make many rounds to get the required documents and women have to face many difficulties to get the succession certificate.

The federal ombudsman directed NADRA to set up more facilitation centres for the convenience of the people. He directed that a separate high-speed track should be created for customers who want to avail services by booking appointments.
