Police arrest five injured dacoits after alleged encounters

Landhi Bhains Colony and Bin Qasim Police arrested five injured dacoits after the alleged encounters and recovered weapons, motorcycles and other items from their possession. Five accomplices of the arrested accused managed to escape.

Sukhan police arrested four injured dacoits after an alleged encounter at Landhi Bhanis Colony Road No. 10, while four dacoits escaped from the spot.

According to Karachi Police Spokesperson, the injured robbers were identified as Salman Ali, Ali Khan, Mir Hassan, and Abdul Ghafoor.

A 9mm pistol, a 30 bore pistol with ammunition, two motorcycles, six mobile phones and cash were recovered from the injured robbers. Bin Qasim police arrested an injured dacoit after an alleged encounter on FFBL Road.

According to a Karachi police spokesman, the injured dacoits, Khaliq Khadim, managed to escape from the scene. The injured accused was shifted to Jinnah Hospital for medical treatment.

A TT pistol with ammunition, a motorcycle, a mobile phone and cash were recovered from the accused.

The arrested accused has been involved in other crimes, including street crime. Police claimed that the police mobile was damaged due to the firing by the accused, but the personnel remained safe.

The accused will be further interrogated after treatment.

Separately, Peerabad police claimed to have arrested two suspects, including an injured one, after the alleged encounter near Qasba Colony Peerukhan police check post. According to the spokesman of Karachi police, the accused Hazrat Ali, 18, was arrested in injured condition and was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for medical treatment while his arrested accomplice Atifullah, 20, was shifted to Peerabad Police Station.
