Pakistan would promote partnerships and unity for strengthening the voice of the Muslim world as the chair of the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation Council of Foreign Ministers (OIC-CFM) and develop mechanisms for implementation of resolutions passed by recently-conclude Islamabad meeting.
Prime Minister Imran Khan and Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that the 48th session of the OIC-CFM in Islamabad this week had further enhanced the prestige of Pakistan in the whole Ummah, according to a Radio Pakistan report.

In a tweet, Imran congratulated the nation on the successful session of the OIC-CFM. He mentioned that the session agreed on strengthening joint efforts for the unity of the Islamic world, and addressing the challenges including Kashmir, Palestine, Afghanistan's humanitarian crisis, and Islamophobia.

Separately, talking to the media persons in Islamabad Foreign Minister Qureshi said that being the chair of the OIC-CFM, Pakistan would summon another ministerial meeting to develop mechanisms for implementation of resolutions passed by the Islamabad session.
Expressing serious concerns over the situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK), Qureshi said that the OIC meeting agreed to an action plan to forcefully highlight the outstanding dispute. He added the action plan laid out the role of the OIC Secretariat in this regard.
