Wanted criminal arrested after 14 years

Suspect was sought for allegedly murdering four, including cop

CIA police claimed arrested the most wanted suspects in the murder case of four people, including a police constable, after fourteen years.

Police said Faisalabad CPO Ghulam Mubashir Mekan was given the task of arresting Shahzad Ghous, who was wanted in connection to the aforementioned murder cases.

Sub-Inspector Ali Ikram and his team raided a location in Chichawatni and arrested the accused Ghous, a most wanted top ten accused, using modern technology. Ghous had allegedly shot dead the brother of the former Nazim in the area of Balochni police station in 2009.

Ghous allegedly indiscriminately shot dead another three persons, including a police constable, in the area of Balochni police station in 2013.

The accused went into hiding after these incidents. Ali Ikram, a sub-inspector of CIA police, along with a team raided his hideout and detained him, handing him over to Baloch police. CPO Ghulam Mubashir Mekan announced cash rewards and certificates for the team that arrested the accused after 14 years.
