Punjab Police to partner with LUMS

Punjab Police has decided to collaborate with Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS) for research purposes.

Additional IG Training Zulfiqar Hameed stated that an MoU would be signed between Punjab Police and LUMS as part of the Punjab Police Internship Program. Under this programme, law students from LUMS will conduct research and intern with the Punjab Police.

Additional IG Training Zulfiqar Hameed said that students will research gender-based violence, in order to explore the causes of gender-based crimes and possible solutions to prevent them.

He added that Punjab Police is committed to expand the scope of partnership with major universities of the province to strengthen the field of education and research, whilst providing students with practical training.
