Hill Park inaugurated in capital

Recreational facility has swings, walkways, jogging and cycling tracks

ISLAMABAD:

Capital Development Authority Chairman Amir Ali Ahmed on Sunday inaugurated a park on 3rd Road in Sector G-10/4 Islamabad.

The CDA chairman also launched the spring tree plantation drive 2022 and planted a sapling in the new Hill Park. The department of environment also planted more than 500 trees during the opening ceremony of the park.

The CDA chief directed the departments concerned to take further steps for a proper lighting system in the park. He also issued instructions to further improve the jogging track to facilitate the citizens.

The park has been developed after removing the piles of garbage and debris to provide recreational facilities to the citizens.

The CDA chairman further said that over 0.3 million large size plants should be planted in the city during the spring tree plantation drive.

The park also has other facilities for children to play, including swings, walkways, a jogging track, cycling track. In the same way, to keep the environment green and fresh, seasonal flowers of different colours have been planted in the park so that the citizens visiting the park can fully enjoy the atmosphere. Benches have been installed in the park.
