‘Agriculture Show 2022 achieves its goals’

Show provided an effective platform to farmers, importers and exporters

A two-day agricultural exhibition organized by the Agriculture Department of Punjab at the Ghazi University in Dera Ghazi Khan has concluded.

Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tufail, Special Secretary of Agriculture Marketing of Punjab, Waqar Hussain, and Chairman of PAMRA, Naveed Anwar Bhindar, also participated in the closing ceremony.

On the occasion, South Punjab agriculture secretary said that the exhibition played a very important role in food security, agricultural development and prosperity of the farmers in South Punjab region.

He said mega-projects were being launched which would have a positive impact on increasing the production per acre and would strengthen the financial condition of the farmers in this region.

The holding of the Agriculture Show 2022 in Dera Ghazi Khan was a link which had provided an effective platform to farmers, importers and exporters.

In addition to providing vast opportunities for farmers, processors and exporters to coordinate at the national level, there were vast opportunities for development and promotion of Pakistani agricultural products.

The secretary also thanked the representatives of print and electronic media for the full coverage of this mega event.
