Islamabad police have arrested 15 persons in different areas and recovered stolen goods including gold ornaments, vehicles, mobile phones and cash from them.
Bhara Kahu police arrested four accused, including a woman involved in a house robbery. The accused were identified as Rashid Mehmood, Junaid, Ehsan and Musarrat Bibi. Gold ornaments worth Rs1,200,000 were recovered from their possession.
Sihala police arrested two accused involved in stealing vehicles. The accused were identified as Majid Hussain and Zubair Rasheed. Three vehicles have been recovered from them. Meanwhile, Industrial Area police arrested six accused involved in pickpocketing in Sunday Bazar. Police also recovered seven mobile phones and cash from them.

A CIA police team has arrested three accused identified as Shakir Ullah, Asmat Ullah and Ehtasham Ul Haq. The team recovered weapons, five mobile phones and cash worth Rs 65,000 from them. The accused were involved in looting people at gunpoint in the areas of Sabzi Mandi, Industrial Area and Koral.
Meanwhile, Islamabad Traffic Police (ITP) Constable Muhammad Ehsan on Saturday returned a lost wallet to the owner.
The wallet had more than Rs15,000 in cash and other essential cards. The constable, while performing his duty in Sector I-8 found the wallet. The wallet belonged to Mazhar Sheikh. Ehsan handed over the wallet to the owner.
