Provinces urged to implement cloud policy
Federal Minister for IT and Telecommunication Syed Aminul Haque has urged all the provinces including Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan to implement the Cloud Policy.
In a meeting on Wednesday, he discussed the objectives of the Cloud Policy and termed its approval by the federal cabinet great success for Pakistan.
“We have to take all the provinces on board,” he said.
He was of the view that the implementation of the policy would help fuel investment in the country.
He further emphasised that it would not only secure the data but also steer transparency. Haque underlined that the issues of connectivity in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan would be resolved on priority basis and steps were underway for improving connectivity in Balochistan.
