PM meets MQM-P ministers, directs expediting Karachi projects

Premier Imran also asks to take all possible measures for creating job opportunities for tech-savvy youth

Prime Minister Imran Khan on Tuesday met Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) ministers and directed to beef up the pace of various ongoing development schemes in Karachi to ensure the provision of better services to people.

Syed Aminul Haq, who is the Minister for Information Technology, was accompanied by Minister for Law Dr Farogh Naseem as well as PTI Minister for Maritime Affairs Syed Ali Haider Zaidi on the occasion.

He also directed to take all possible measures for creating job opportunities for the tech-savvy youth and promoting information technology in the country.

The participants discussed matters pertaining to various development schemes in Karachi and the prime minister was briefed about the performance of the Ministry of Information Technology and Telecommunication.

In a separate meeting, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of the National Assembly (MNA) from Karachi Aftab Siddiqui also called on PM Imran.

'Organise the party at lower tiers in Karachi'

During the meeting, political matters of the relevant constituency as well as the development schemes were discussed.

Aftab Siddiqui appreciated the prime minister’s initiative of providing low-cost housing facilities to the country’s middle and lower segments.

The premier directed him to activate PTI workers to further strengthen and organise the party at lower tiers in Karachi.
