ISLAMABAD: Mercury has taken a tumble in Rawalpindi and Islamabad, after a dust storm and heavy rainfall lashed the twin cities.

The storm uprooted several trees and billboards.

It was followed by heavy rains which lasted for almost an hour, providing much-needed relief from the scorching heat.
