MULTAN:

Over 11,000 grocery stores were registered in 495 union councils of four districts of Multan division to enable people to avail discount on purchase of essential items under the Ehsaas Ration Riayat Programme.

This was stated by Multan Deputy Commissioner Amir Kareem Khan during a briefing to the Commissioner, Dr. Irshad Ahmad, on Wednesday.

The commissioner said that there was no dearth of wheat flour and sugar in the market and ordered stringent measures to keep prices of essential items stable.

Dr. Irshad ordered the officials to fix price of milk.
