MDA DG to appear in plots case

Court warning gave respondents 30 days to give alternative plot

KARACHI:

The Sindh High Court has ordered the MDA DG to appear in person and warned that alternative plots should be given to an affected citizen otherwise contempt of court proceedings would be initiated.

The petitioner's counsel Iqbal Khurram Advocate stated, "My client bought a plot in KDA in 1983. The land was transferred from KDA to MDA. He has been trying for years to get an alternative plot."

The court while issuing a warning gave the respondents 30 days to give alternative plot or else contempt of court proceedings would be initiated.
