Admission test for FCPS-II Training held

Presence of sanitiser, face mask and thermal guns was ensured at all examination centres to implement Covid-19 SOPs

The admission test for 'FCPS-II Training' was conducted at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JPMC). More than 1,700 candidates appeared in the test for 80 seats.

On the occasion, Acting Vice Chancellor of Jinnah Sindh Medical University (JSMU) and JPMC Executive Director Professor Shahid Rasool visited the examination centres, reviewed the entrance test and expressed satisfaction over the facilities provided to the candidates.

He said that he has sought permission from the government to increase the number of FCPS training seats so that the capacity of more and more specialists in the medical field can be enhanced so that they provide the best possible health facilities to the people.

On the direction of JSMU vice chancellor and JPMC executive director, the presence of sanitiser, face mask and thermal gun was ensured at all examination centres in order to implement coronavirus SOPs.

The 'FCPS-II Training' conducted under the JPMC consists of various specialties including general medicine, general surgery, radiology, gyneacology, obstetrics, ophthalmology, ENT, psychiatry, dermatology, gastroenterology, nephrology, pulmonology, endocrinology, rheumatology, neurology, oncology, thoracic surgery, neuro surgery, urology and orthopaedic surgery.
