Strangled body of missing child found

Apparently, no evidence of child abuse was found immediately, however, the postmortem report will reveal the facts

The body of an eight-year-old boy, who had been reported missing since 8.00pm on Tuesday from New Karachi area, was found from Khamiso Goth Cemetery on Wednesday.

The New Karachi police station SHO said that the slain child was strangled to death by unknown assailants by the cord of his trousers. Apparently, no evidence of child abuse was found immediately, however, the postmortem report will reveal the facts. Muhammad Asif, the father of the slain child, had lodged a report of his son's disappearance at the New Karachi police station.

Man found murdered

Several days old body of a man was found in the land of Adam Jokhio in Karim Town area within the limits of Gulshan-e-Maymar police station. Police suspect that the victim was strangled to death.

The police shifted it to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. SHO Riaz Bhutto said that the the body appeared to be three to four days old. He added that the corpse was bleeding from the ear. The marks of injuries on the face are obvious and a plastic shopper has been put in the mouth of the corpse. He said that the police suspect that the victim was strangled to death.

Body found from nullah

A several days old unidentified body was found while cleaning of Gujjar Nullah near Cafe Piyala Hotel in Gulberg within the limits of Taimoria police station.

The body was shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. SHO Taimoria Muhammad Rashid said that the body has decomposed beyond recognition as it is several days old. He said DNA test could identify the ethnicity of the deceased and the cause of death could be determined by autopsy, however, they have yet no immediate clue to his name and family.
