Veteran: 109-year-old policeman calls on IGP
Muhammad was born in Mudhki, Ferozepur (India) in 1902 and had joined the Indian Police in 1924.

A 109-year-old head constable (retired) Mirza Fateh Muhammad met Inspector General of Police Javed Iqbal at his office on Monday to pay his regards and offer felicitation. Muhammad said he was born in Mudhki, Ferozepur (India) in 1902 and had joined the Indian Police in 1924. He said at that time his monthly salary was Rs17.
After independence, Muhammad moved to Pakistan and for 18 years served as an orderly to IGP Qurban Ali Khan.
He retired as a head constable from Okara CIA on November 5, 1965. Muhammad said that he enjoyed good health and had a remarkable memory. Out of his three sons, he said, one was a constable in the Punjab Police.
Muhammad said he had attended public meetings graced by leaders like Quaid-i-Azam, Mahatma Ghandi and Subhash Chandra Bose.
