Adele persuades Spotify to remove shuffle from albums
Adele was able to persuade Spotify to remove the default shuffle option in albums after Adele tweeted that songs should be played in order, the way the artist intended it.
The Grammy-winning artist tweeted this Saturday that "This was the only request I had in our ever changing industry! We don't create albums with so much care and thought into our track listing for no reason. Our art tells a story and our stories should be listened to as we intended."
Spotify got the hint and responded to the tweet with, "Anything for you."

The shuffle button does not appear on the album page but is still visible when you click to view the album track. The application has emerged as a dominant music streaming app as its users skyrocket rapidly. The company reported in October that in the third quarter of this year, the total number of monthly users climbed 19% to 381 million.
