Sindh govt hands over 53 acres of land with buildings and infrastructure

HYDERABAD:

The Sindh government has handed over 53 acres land with buildings and infrastructure to the sub-campus of Sindh Agricultural University in Umerkot district.

The provincial government through Education Department transferred the newly constructed administrative blocks, faculty buildings, auditoriums and other newly constructed and well-equipped infrastructure to the university management; in this regard a MoU was signed between D.

Jan Mohammad Marri, Director, SubCampus, Sindh Agricultural University at Umerkot and Bilawal Ahmed Kumbhar, District Education Officer. Addressing a brief ceremony Dr Marri said that on the directives of Vice Chancellor Dr Fateh Muhammad Marri, SAU has pledged to provide modern teaching and research facilities to the students of Thar and adjoining areas.

“We are further expanding the campus infrastructure and the Sindh government is fully cooperating,” he added. He said new degree courses are being introduced in the sub-campus for the students and more dynamic and modern facilities would be provided in the laboratories, research fields and classes.
