Actor Humaima Malick recently took to her Instagram stories to call out users sharing doctored pictures of her, asking them to take down the images and threatening legal action if they do not comply. The pictures, which the actor claim to have been “vulgarly” edited, had been doing the rounds on social media before being noticed by Humaima.

The actor wrote, “Some of my pictures have been circulating around the internet badly (vulgarly) edited. It’s a shame how people can do this.” She added, “I request those fan pages to take them down now before I take legal action.”

Recently, Humaima suffered a harrowing health scare while in Turkey for the IPPA awards, taking to social media to request for prayers. The Bol actor’s appendix ruptured while she was in Istanbul, with Humaima posting pictures of herself in a hospital bed on her Instagram.

She then went on to share details in a separate post, writing, “Please pray for everyone around you and with you. Aik chalta phirta banda marr sakta hai. Pyaar sey dekho, Khuda sey har kisi ki khair maango. Allah kisi ko hasab ki nazar na lagaye [A healthy individual can die at any time. Look at others with love and wish them the best. May God protect us all from those who are envious].”

She added further, “22 hours in Istanbul with a ruptured appendix without knowing it. Maut dekhi mainay. Mere rab ney mujhe nai zindagi di. [I saw death. God gave me new life]. Please be kind [to] everyone around you. Life is too short. Kuch nahi pata aglay lamhe hum zinda hon ya nahi [You don’t know whether you’ll be alive the next moment or not].”
