Decapitated body of teen found
Police this week recovered the body of a married girl who had been abducted a month ago.
It was found that she had been raped before being murdered.
The victim was four months pregnant. The main accused in the murder has also been arrested. The accused, Nawab Ali, had had a friendship with the victim.
The accused allegedly abducted the victim and brutally murdered her after raping her.
He then tied the victim's body to a tree in a cotton field and escaped.
It was reported that the accused could not sleep for 15 days due to “fear” and remained restless.
The accused told the whole story to the girl's family. Police later recovered the body of the deceased from a local field on the identification of the accused. Animals had torn the victim's body, and only parts of the body were found which were sent for forensic tests.
Sources said that the suspect was upset that the victim had had a relationship with someone else as well. The killer was so upset over the matter that he committed the horrific murder.
Accused Nawab Ali, Pinnu and Ijaz had abducted the 19-year-old victim from her parents' house on 25/9/21.
Her parents registered a kidnapping case with the concerned police station. Police recovered the girl's body parts from a cotton field in Chak 389WB.
Accused Nawab Ali has confessed to kidnapping, raping, and murdering the victim along with his accomplices. Accused Nawab is in custody, and raids are being carried out to arrest the remaining accused.
DPO Abdul Rauf Babar Qaisrani said that a case had been registered against the accused on the complaint of the victim's father.
Others involved in the incident will soon be arrested.
Earlier, the victim’s father, Chakrold Wariam, had told the police that his daughter had been married to one Muhammad Nawaz.
She was about four months pregnant “when she came to visit us.
“When I got home, my belongings were empty.” People arrived when they heard the noise, and he said that his daughter was abducted by Nawab and Pinnu Khan along with three other unknown accomplices.
On the way, they took Rs500,000 in cash and jewelry in the car.
A case was registered under section 472/21 Crime 496, and an investigation was started.
Lodhran police finally recovered the deceased's body from the 389 WB cotton crop and arrested accused Nawab Ali.
Search is on for the other suspects.
In this regard, District Police Officer Abdul Rauf Babar Qaisrani said that no matter how influential the accused are, they cannot escape the grip of the law.
Those involved in this act will be punished according to the law.
