Orangi Town gets public library, computer lab
Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) Rabita Committee member and Federal Minister Syed Aminul Haq inaugurated a state-of-the-art library and computer lab at Orangi Town.
Addressing the inaugural function, Haq said, "Today the world is in the technology race, new inventions are being introduced each passing day, we should also keep pace with the world in today's fast-expanding technology."
He further mentioned, "We have not only built roads of Orangi Town and improved the clean water supply system but we have also set up a computer training centre on modern lines in order to boost the hidden talent and skills of Orangi Town's children and this is our commitment."
Meanwhile, Haq also inaugurated UC-28 Akbar Shaheed Chowk Road, Khulfa-e-Rashidin Masjid Road, Faran School Road and UC-22 Haryana School Road. MQM member of provincial assembly Sadaqat Hussain and others were also present on the occasion.

Later, he visited the homes of people who were injured in a petrol station blast near Nazimabad Board Office and expressed sympathy to their family members.
October 31 martyrs remembered
Meanwhile, MQM-P Rabita Committee convener Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, in a message on the 35th anniversary of the martyrs of October 31st, 1986 tragedy, said that the sacrifices of the martyrs were an asset to the nation.
"As a result of these sacrifices the philosophy of MQM-P about representing poor and middle class is spreading across the country and now all political parties are uttering our words," he mentioned.
Observing the anniversary of the martyrs of October 31, 1986 is proof that we are committed to our stand to achieve our goal of getting due rights for Mohajirs. He prayed that may Allah Almighty elevate the ranks of all the martyrs.
