Robbers held with the help of CCTV footage

Suspects had looted cash and valuables from cashier and other customers at a petrol station

The Sindh Rangers claimed to have arrested two street criminals with the help of a CCTV footage on Saturday.

According to a spokesperson, the arrested suspects, Attaullah and Sameer, are involved in a number of street crimes.

The suspects, residents of Ayub Goth, Gadap Town, had snatched cash and mobile phones from the cashier and customers at a petrol station in Saeedabad area on August 11.

They have also revealed about their other accomplices following which the agencies are conducting raids to arrest them.

Man dies of electric shock

A young resident of Qasba Colony died of electric shock in his house within the limits of Peerabad police.

The body of the deceased was shifted to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital and later the family members of the deceased took the body without any police action.

According to hospital sources, the deceased was identified as Fasihuddin, 22. Police, however, are investigating the incident.
