KARACHI:

Pakistan Peoples Party Central Information Secretary and Member National Assembly Shazia Atta Marri said that PPP is going to hold a grand public gathering on Sunday at Bagha-e-Jinnah in Karachi to pay homage to the martyrs of the October 18, 2007, bomb blast.

She added millions of PPP workers and supporters will participate in the grand public meeting. She said that many of the party’s workers and supporters were martyred and dozens were injured during the incident, while Benazir Bhutto stood by the bereaved families.

“The commitment of party leaders and workers is in the same spirit today, like that of Zulfikar Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto with the people.”

Shazia Marri said that PPP’s Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari had always spoken about the rights of common people and the aim was to work for their betterment and welfare.
