Reportedly, as many as 50 students secured 1,100 marks out of 1,100 total marks.
Besides this, the BISE boards results were also almost same in Multan where 48 students secured 1,100 marks while 24 students scored full marks in the Faisalabad BISE exams.

Reportedly, the BISE Lahore result was a top trend on the social media and almost all stakeholders of education system were surprised after a large number of students in Punjab scored full marks in the BISE exams.
Moreover, they were reportedly thousands of intermediate students who secured 1,099, 1,098 or 1,097 marks out of the total 1,100 marks.
The intermediate students obtained these marks after opting for only three optional subjects while in the past two years they spent around 18 months out of schools owing to the Covid-19 curbs.
As per a survey, conducted to understand the surge in top rankers, the teachers’ community told The Express Tribune that the phenomenal results still shocked most stakeholders in the education sector and the society as a whole.
The All-Pakistan Private Schools’ Management Association (APPSMA) President Kashif Adeeb Jawdani said, “I am still in shock after learning about the results. It is beyond my imagination how 50 students in Lahore managed to secure full marks in the board exams. I am deeply concerned over the situation of our education system.”

Amir Bashir, the owner of a private school said, “Apparently, anything is possible in our education system. I run private schools and wish the best for my students but this year, the results have only exposed the flaws of our system. How is it possible that dozens of pupils, who could not even go to schools during the Covid-19 pandemic and were unable to manage their studies in isolation, all of a sudden score full marks?”
“There are chances that university admission committees will be denied enrolment as local universities have a limited number of seats,” said a senior professor at Government College University, Lahore.
Lahore BISE Controller Tahir Jafri said, “The exam marks are awarded on the promotion policy formula. This year’s results do not surprise us.”
Punjab Teachers Union President Rana Liaqat Ali said a new debate would start about our education boards after all this.
