GOJRA:

An accused involved in the gang-rape of an 18-year-old girl was arrested by the police on Thursday, whereas raids were underway to nab two more accused.

The girl was allegedly gang-raped by two men in a car along the Multan-Faisalabad Motorway (M4) after being lured for a job interview.

An FIR lodged with the Gojra Police Station nominated three people, identified as Hammad, Rehman and Laiba, by complainant Shaheen Akhtar.

The complainant stated in the FIR that her niece received a message on her mobile phone asking her to come to Gojra for a job interview at a boutique.

She said that when we reached the given location, accused Laiba asked for the girl to be sent with the people in the car, adding that she will be dropped back after the interview.
