Police seek legal opinion on harassment case
Lahore police has decided to seek the opinion of legal wing on initiation of action against TikToker Ayesha Akram and her social media partner Rambo for wilfully shooting objectionable videos and making it viral on multiple online platforms.
Police sought legal opinion about different aspects of action against Ayesha Akram and her accomplices under Pakistan Electronic Crimes Act (PECA). Under the PECA law, an offender can be punished for seven years for the offences like that of Ayesha and Rambo.

On the other hand, an FIR had been registered on the complaint of Ayesha in Shahdara police station against her receiving death threats. In her statement, Ayesha claimed that she was the complainant of the mob harassment incident at Minar-e-Pakistan.
At least eight suspects allegedly stripped her. Lorry Ada police arrested suspects in the case.
She had been reportedly receiving death threats from unknown persons both local and abroad, she told police.
