Murder witness shot dead after case hearing
An eyewitness to a murder case was shot dead in the Buffer Zone area.
Unidentified gunmen opened fire on Ghulam Murtaza Panni, 509, near Al-Habib Restaurant in Sector 15-A4, Bufferzone within the limits of Taimuria Police Station.
Panni was going home after a hearing of the murder case of his late employer.
The injured was rushed to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital in a critical condition who succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
According to Taimuria SHO Abdul Rashid the deceased was the driver of Arsalan Alam, the owner of Healthy Life Medical Center located in Sector 15-A4, Bufferzone.
Panni was working for Alam for the last two decades.
The SHO further said that Arsalan’s father Jamshed Alam was a property dealer and builder and was murders in the limits of Preedy Police Station about a year ago. “Pani was the only eyewitness of the case,” the precincts head said.

Panni’s murder case was registered at the Taimuria Police Station against unidentified suspects.
The CCTV footage of the incident shows a man clad in pant shirt getting off a motorcycle.
The suspect wearing a facemask and a cap walks up to Panni, draws out a pistol from his left hand from and after a few seconds he is seen running back to his accomplice and escape away with him by the bike.
