PM orders reopening of 83,741 public complaints
Prime Minister Imran Khan ordered the reopening of 83,741 public complaints filed on the Pakistan Citizen’s Portal against different institutions and departments to ensure relief to masses, the Prime Minister Office’s Media Wing said in a statement on Saturday
According to Prime Minister’s Performance Delivery Unit (PMDU), the premier also directed for re-opening of 2,549 complaints in which partial relief was provided. It added that the officials concerned would proceed on these public complaints.
Of the total complaints, which would be reopened, 43,351 pertained to 773 federal government entities, whereas 40,415 other complaints were related to a total of 2,450 provincial institutions and departments, the statement said.

At the federal level, the highest number of complaints—3,181 – had been received against Islamabad Electric Supply Company, while at the provincial level, 1,606 complaints related to the Punjab Highway and 412 to the Peshawar Development Authority in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, 874 complaints were against KSWP in Sindh and 130 were linked to secondary education in Balochistan.
Separately in a tweet, Premier Imran said that he would inaugurate the start of celebrations for the month of Rabiul Awal with a special announcement for youth on Sunday (today).
“Tomorrow afternoon, I will inaugurate the start of our celebrations for the month of Rabiul Awal with a very special announcement especially for our youth,” Imran said in the tweet on Saturday.
