He raised the PPP slogan after losing a cricket match against the opposition team

Ruling Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and Provincial Minister of Punjab for Prisons Fayyazul Hassan Chohan has chanted Jeay Bhutto (long live Bhutto) — slogan of opposition party PPP.

He raised the slogan while speaking to the media after losing a friendly cricket match between the Punjab Assembly opposition and treasury benches held at Governor House in Lahore on Saturday.

Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar removed Chohan from his post of Punjab government spokesperson for the third time earlier this week.

The provincial chief executive appointed Hasaan Khawar as the new spokesperson of the provincial Government. Reportedly, Khawar will also serve as the acting special assistant on information.

Chohan would, however, reportedly continue to perform his duties as the provincial prisons minister. Reportedly, he was, once again, unaware of his removal from the post of spokesperson. Chohan remarked, “I could not be a good spokesperson. The chief minister has the power to appoint whomever he wants as his spokesperson. I really do not know the reason for my dismissal from the position.”

He had been removed from the post of information minister twice. The second time he was removed, he learnt about it from the reports. Chohan further said that Prime Minister Imran Khan was his leader and he had worked for several years in his party.
