KARACHI:

The All Pakistan Muttahida Students Organisation (APMSO) held a protest demonstration at the Karachi Press Club against the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) examinations held by the Pakistan Medical Commission (PMC).

Addressing the protest, Muttahida Qaumi Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) MPA Khawaja Izharul Hassan said that there was no transparency in the entrance test conducted by the PMC

He said MQM was the only party that had the courage to protest against the government even while in government. Students and their parents were exasperated over the excesses committed by the PMC in the examinations.

He alleged that the PMC deliberately failed the exams with students from all over Pakistan under a special scheme. Students from Islamabad, Balochistan and other cities are also protesting against the PMC.

“Today we assure the students of Pakistan that MQM-P will raise its voice for their rights at every forum,” he said and assured the parents that MQM-P will not let their hard earned money go to waste.
