Grade 19 officer goes missing from PECHS

Family members say he had suffered huge losses in real estate business

A Grade 19 officer of the Balochistan government has mysteriously gone missing from PECHS. Police have registered a case of kidnapping on the complaint of a missing person's son and started an investigation.

According to SSP East, the government officer was financially distressed. Police have expressed a fear that the missing government official might harm himself. However, police are investigating various aspects of the incident.

Tareen was temporarily staying with his family at Executive Lounge Guest House in PECHS Society Block 6, within Tipu Sultan police limits.

In this regard, SSP East Qamar Raza Jaskani told The Express Tribune that Tareen left the guest house on Wednesday afternoon for prayers.

He did not take his mobile phone and wallet while leaving. When the police got the CCTV footage and found that the official was not going to the mosque, but somewhere else.

The SSP further said that Tareen was earlier living in a rented accommodation in a private housing society on Superhighway and recently shifted into a guest house in the PECHS Society.

Quoting family members, he said that Tareen had invested heavily in the real estate business and faced huge losses
