Medical student found dead in hostel

The 22-year-old was a second year student at the college

FAISALABAD:

The body of a medical student was found from a room of a hostel located near Narwala Chowk on Wednesday.

Kotwali police said that 22-year-old Muhammad Arsalan, resident of Basti Nizamabad Kabirwala, was a second year student at Independent Medical College.

As per sources, the youth died under mysterious circumstances at the hostel. On information, the hostel administration informed the police.

The corpse was taken into custody and dispatched to Allied Hospital for post mortem examination. Police have acquired the footage of CCTV cameras inside the hostel to help identify the cause of death.
