LAHORE:

The Lahore police on Thursday registered a case against pro-Jahangir Tareen group MPA Khurram Leghari for allegedly harassing and blackmailing a woman.

According to the FIR registered at Defence A Police Station, complainant Amna Yakub stated that Leghari broke into her house, resorted to aerial firing and threatened to kill her.

The complainant adopted the stance that the MPA had been forcing her to keep illicit relations with him by pretending to be an unmarried man. She further said that Leghari had been compelling her for a year to meet secretly.
