Bilal Maqsood loves everything about Junaid Safdar's singing minus the 'tax money'
Junaid Safdar, PML-N Supremo's grandson, tied the knot with Ayesha Saif Khan in London last week. The pictures and videos from the event went viral on social media soon after the event concluded. Junaid looked dapper in a tuxedo while Ayesha looked stunning in a pastel Sabyasachi lehenga choli.
Recently, a video of him trying his hand at singing went viral. Junaid struck a chord with Mohammad Rafi 's 1977 classic, Kya Hua Tera Vaada, as the crowd lauded him. While many praised the groom for his 'brilliant' singing skills, some took to social media and took jibe at PML-N Vice President Maryam Nawaz Sharif's son. One of them was musician Bilal Maqsood.
Taking to Instagram, the Mera Bichra Yaar crooner took a dig at Junaid and wrote, “Some of the flowers in the background might be from my tax money. But I have to give this guy full marks for his singing."
Popular TV host Mathira called out Bilal while sharing the singer's post and penned, "Please stop being rude. It's his happy moment." She added, "The stuff I am reading is very sad. Please stop acting like Jahils [illiterate]. We should not drag people's kids because of their political backgrund. Who are we to judge."
Mathira concluded, "We preach about not bullying people but everyone who is preaching is bullying him on his wedding. Grow up Pakistanis."
Meanwhile, Areeba Habib, Zoya Nasir, Anoushey Ashraf and Saboor Aly praised Junaid for his singing skills.
