Food mela: TMA sets up Azadi mela
Dozens of residents in the area visited the mela and enjoyed food from all over the province.

The tehsil municipal administration (TMA) has set up an Azadi Food Mela on Sialkot city’s busy Paris Road locality in connection with Independence Day. Dozens of residents in the area visited the mela and enjoyed food from all over the province at different stalls set up at the event. TMA official Pervaiz Iqbal said that the mela would continue all day until Sehar on August 15. “We hope the people will appreciate the event and enjoy the food. Over a thousand people have visited the mela so far,” he added. The food mela was set up for one day and several locals appreciated the TMAs effort at providing food from different areas at subsidized rates.
