Xbox Series names have been the target of memes and mockery for a while, but now Microsoft has officially embraced its unusual naming decisions with a meme of its own published on Instagram.

In the confusing Xbox Series, Xbox Series One is followed by Xbox One X, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and finally Xbox One S. The internet has since then mocked the names of the series using one Xbox One X box, and other Xbox X series boxes.

In a video posted on Instagram, the company used the names to confuse its audience and play around with it. However, according to The Verge, ever since Microsoft mocked the name of its own series, it has ceased to be considered cool, and has killed the humour around it, even if the company commented that they’ll “keep going until someone tells us to stop”.

Previously, Microsoft has killed a number of memes by responding to it through memes and tweets of its own. The company beat Skittles in a Twitter poll and decided to make mini Xbox Series X fridges, as per the poll. The company has been using memes frequently since the announcement of Xbox series X in 2019. The leak of Xbox Series S prompted them to release a meme yet again before the console was officially detailed later.
