Lockdown has been a game changer: Wahab
Sindh government spokesperson Murtaza Wahab has termed the lockdown in Karachi a ‘game changer’.
Addressing a press conference at the Frere Hall on Tuesday, he urged citizens to not pay heed to the voices of political hypocrites.
“It is due to the lockdown that nearly 225,000 people have received vaccinations in a single day, while we aim to reach a daily target of 250,000 jabs,” he said.
The spokesperson continued that the lockdown and the precautions taken by citizens have led to a decrease in the number of corona cases.
Wahab alleged that the leaders of PTI were misleading people regarding the spike of coronavirus.

He accused the federal government of being a hypocrite with regards to the decisions made by the provincial government . Wahab added that tough decisions were also made in Lahore, but no one resorted to protest.
“When the same decision was taken for Karachi, after reports of 27 positive cases, people in the federal government instigated and misled the citizens and indulged in politics. He said that political leaders and media personnel must exhibit a greater sense of responsibility as they exercise influence and people follow them.
