HYDERABAD: The people of Sindh will receive a good news after Eid regarding the local government system, said Sindh Fisheries Minister Zahid Bhurgari while addressing a rally on the country’s 64th birthday on Sunday.
He spoke against the reinstatement of the local government system which triggered a severe backlash from nationalists in the province. His bold statement suggested that the provincial government might have bowed down to the nationalist demands. Bhurgari’s constituency of Qasimabad is where different political parties have their headquarters.
He claims that although the nationalist parties might not be popular with the masses, they have been there for decades.
