Ayesha Omar opens up about what she’d teach her future son

The actor shared that boys should be taught kindness and must be held accountable for their actions

Actor and host Ayesha Omar recently took to her Instagram to speak about how young boys should be raised. She addressed the post to her future son and daughter, going on to share how boys should be taught kindness and must be held accountable for their actions. 

She wrote, “For my future son. And daughter. Insha Allah. Boys will be sensitive. Boys will be soft. Boys will be kind. Boys will be gentle. Boys will respect girls. Boys will be held accountable for their actions. Boys will be expressive. Boys will be loving. Boys will be nurturing. Boys will be different from everything the world has so far told them they have to be in order to be a man.” 

The Bulbulay actor has been vocal about her views on social issues on her Instagram in the past as well. Omar recently schooled a troll for making ageist remarks on social media. After Iffat Omar had shared a photo featuring the likes of Bushra Ansari, Saba Hameed, Samina Ahmed, Ayesha Omar, Arjumand Rahim and Angeline Malik on her Instagram, a user commented under the post writing, “Shaitan buddiyan.” 

The actor jumped in to defend her seniors, taking to the post’s comment section to say, “But most humans will get ‘budha’ in their lives, if Allah wills and they reach the age. It’s a natural human process. In fact, it’s a blessing to be alive and healthy in the latter part of your life.”She went on to ask, “Why do people use age as an insult or in a derogatory way? Aren’t your parents old, Mr Troll, or your grandparents? Do you insult them for their age too? Points to ponder…”

Ayesha then asserted that one must respect all ages, genders, orientations and living things to be precise. “Let’s try and respect all ages, genders and all orientations. Not to forget, all religions and cultures. You will receive what you give out!”

On another occasion, calling out a troll for accusing the starlet of “promoting behayai”, Omar took to Instagram to write, “If you could look beyond a bit of my limbs showing, it would be nice to appreciate someone's hard work without being judgmental. Try it, it uplifts both parties." She added, “Empowerment is the process of becoming stronger and more confident, especially in controlling one's life and claiming one's rights."
