The Sindh Education Foundation (SEF) has decided to award scholarships to 231 hardworking and able AQ Khan School System Ibrahim Campus students whose parents could no longer afford their education.
This was stated by SEF Managing Director Abdul Kabir Qazi. Students who passed the entrance test on a self-finance basis at Dr. AQ Khan School System Ibrahim Campus Islamabad and those who have been studying at the facility for the last two to three academic years have been included in the Sindh School Education Scholarship Programme.
Scholarships have been awarded to 231 children and the full cost of their education, accommodation and homecoming will be bourne by the Sindh Education Foundation from April 2021.
A statement outlined that parents of children studying at Dr AQ Khan School System Ibrahim Campus Islamabad have long asked for Sindh School Education Scholarships as they can no longer afford the education costs.

All the students were studying in SEF and government schools and obtaining an education on a self-finance basis at Dr. AQ Khan School System Ibrahim Campus. Prior to admission, Dr AQ Khan School System Ibrahim Campus conducted an entrance test for the students. Ever since, parents had been paying for their children's education for the past two to three years.
However, the financial situation of many families worsened and they could no longer afford to send their children for further education. In view of this situation, the SEF managing director and his team met the administration of the Dr. AQ Khan School System and reviewed the annual curriculum activities and reports of these students.
During the review, it was found that the annual results of the students had improved over time and they were hardworking and intelligent. The students risked being expelled from the Dr. AQ Khan School System if they could no longer afford the costs.
Therefore, SEF decided to give scholarships to these students and issued letters to 231 students.
