More vaccination centres providing ease of access, says Wahab
Sindh government spokesperson Barrister Murtaza Wahab said that opening vaccination centres at various locations has made it easier for people to get inoculated.
"Critics of the Sindh and Sindh Government should come see the change and learn how important vaccinations are to return to a normal life," he said. "Opening vaccination centres at various places will improve ease of access," the spokesperson said.
Talking at the inauguration of the Covid-19 vaccination centre here at KMC's Gizri Maternity Home on Thursday, Wahab said when he visited the hospital in 2018, its doors were closed to the poor due to the exorbitant service charges.
"Then hospital was taken over by an NGO after the appointment of an administrator to KMC. Earlier, the hospital's maternity home used to charge Rs 40,000 to Rs 50,000 for a newborn's delivery, Now, it charges only Rs500 and more than 100 patients are examined in the OPD,"

Barrister Murtaza Wahab said the "incompetent PTI government" was responsible for all kinds of crises in the country. "After the water woes, it has now created a gas crisis across the country," he said.
Commenting on Prime Minister Imran Khan's recent statement on women's attire, he said the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf chief should withdraw his "irrational statement" and apologise to the nation. He continued that women were treated with respect in Pakistan's society.
He pointed out that the federal cabinet recently decided to import wheat. Wahab bemoaned that when the Sindh government kept wheat prices high, it was criticised.
"Now it will be imported at Rs2,600 per maund. In short, PTI's policies will ensure that the economic crisis remains."
