The reluctant mentalist

June 22, 2010

KARACHI: This is with reference to Basil Nabi Malik’s article “The reluctant mentalist” (June 21). I appreciate the author’s efforts to write with clarity, without mincing any words, on an issue that most would choose to avoid. The conservatives are unified by the lack of criticism for their way of life. Anyone who criticises them risks being labelled an infidel. In my opinion, fundamentalism must be countered by the publication of more such articles.
