MWMC lifts 520 tonnes of waste

Staff of the MCMC has lifted 66 trollies full of debris

MULTAN:

Multan Waste Management Company (MWMC) has lifted 528 tonnes of waste from union councils in a day under its ‘Khidmat ap ki dehleez per’ programme that is continuing in the city.

The staff of the MWMC has lifted 66 trollies full of debris and also cleaned the Hattar Road in Husain Agahi. Managing Director MWMC Fakharul Islam Dogar paid a visit to the city to review the doorstep service programme and assigned thousands of tasks to the staff.

He said that all the machinery had been made operational under the programme, adding that 10 rickshaws were also provided in each union council for assisting the MWMC teams. He said that the company would take every possible step to enhance the beauty of the city. Dogar directed the officials to ensure provision of cold water to workers rendering services amid scorching heat.
