Sarfaraz shares a list of his television favourites
When he isn’t on the field playing cricket, Sarfaraz Ahmed spends his time watching television like the rest of us. Currently under quarantine prior to the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), the ace sportsman took to his Instagram stories to share his love for local TV dramas. He uploaded a series of posts detailing the ones he loves to watch, so if you’re on the lookout for recommendations, Sarfaraz has got your back!
The cricketer shared a story saying, “Bhai, Pakistani dramoun ki bhi kya baat hai (Pakistani dramas are a class apart)”, along with a bunch of love-struck emojis and a pair of clapping hands. Ishqiya, starring actors Feroze Khan and Hania Amir was the first drama on Sarfaraz’s must-watch list.
The compilation also included Raqs e Bismil starring Sarah Khan and Imran Ashraf, Fitrat featuring Saboor Aly and Ali Abbas, Aulad with Marina Khan in a leading role, Nand featuring Aijaz Aslam and Shahroz Sabzwari, Khani starring Feroze Khan, Qayamat starring Ahsan Khan and Neelam Muneer, Mujhe Khuda Pe Yaqeen Hai starring Aagha Ali and Nimra Khan and Jalan, featuring Minal Khan.
PSL 6 is all set to resume after being paused midway due to the coronavirus pandemic. Only 14 of the 34 matches could be played — all in Karachi — between February 19 and March 4, before Pakistan’s flagship cricket league came to an abrupt halt.
