BRT service to be closed on weekends

As a preventive measure against the spread of coronavirus

PESHAWAR:

The Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) service will remain suspended two days a week over the weekend on Saturday and Sunday. Trans Peshawar spokesperson confirmed the development. “The service will remain suspended two days a week as a preventive measure against the spread of coronavirus,” he said. “The citizens are advised to take the third wave of coronavirus seriously.” He added that the BRT service will reopen on Monday. The move is a preventive measure taken by the government to counter the spread of coronavirus during the third Covid-19 wave.
